Introduction of the comic artist
Cheng entered the comic industry in 1992 and commenced his comic career under Kwong's Creations Company Limited and Ocean Creative Company Limited. In 2006, he founded his own publishing house as an independent artist with his debut comic work Fire Dragon in Japanese style. In addition, he was the editor in chief for a series of comics, including The Legend Of Evil And God Vol. I to III, Quadra Spirit, Valkyria Phoenix, Fire Dragon, God Legion and When Geek Meets Serial Killer. When Geek Meets Serial Killer was later adapted into a film.
Introduction of the characters
God Legion revolved in the Shang and Zhou dynasty in China, when human co-habited with gods on the earth.
The gods were having superior wisdom and strength which human beings were in awed of and obedient to them.
The protagonist of the story is Doggie, an offspring of a human and a god. Disgruntled at the gods’ long-term suppression and ruling to human, he decided to challenge the god’s authority.
