Miss 13 Dots

Lee Wai-chun is an esteemed Hong Kong comic artist. Having studied Chinese painting at college, she started practicing comic illustration in the 1960s.

Her best known comic is the classic Miss 13 Dots published in 1966. The comic started the trend of girls’ comics and was very popular from 60s to 80s both at home and abroad including the East Asia.

The heroine Miss 13 Dots is an independent, avant-garde, and fashionable girl who breaking the concept that women were inferior in HK society.
