Maintenance work of Hong Kong Avenue of Comic Stars

Hi All fans

Three small sculptures (including The White Bears, Cowboy and Old Master Q, in no particular order) located in front of the Comics Avenue are needed to be removed from the park for maintenance. Sorry that they may not been able to meet with fans in coming few weeks.

Refurbishment of Hong Kong Avenue of Comic Stars

Dear all comic fans,

In order to confirm the comic character sculptures in Comic Avenue show to public in the best condition, we will carry out a series of repairs and maintenance works in two rounds. ​

Hong Kong Avenue of Comic Stars Renovation

Sponsored by Create Hong Kong of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the Hong Kong Avenue of Comic Stars (the Avenue) has been enhanced by the Hong Kong Comics and Animation Federation by refurbishing the original exhibits and adding more attractions with new decorations and displays, with a view to deepening local public and tourists understanding of Hong Kong comics.

"McDull" sculpture will be temporarily removed from Kowloon Park for maintenance and will meet you again in two months!

10 sculptures and 8 small sculptures will be removed from Kowloon Park for repairs and refurbishment

28 December 2017 (Thursday)

10 sculptures in the Comic Avenue (Guo Jing, K, Hui Lok, Andy Chan, Cowboy, Doggie, Bruce Lee, Tiger Shark, Dragon Lord and Jing Lie, in arbitrary order) and 8 small sculptures (Guo Jing, The white bear & the boy, Hui Lok, Shau Sing Chai, Cowboy, Little Horse, Old Master Q, and Q Boy, in arbitrary order) in front of the entry will be removed from Kowloon Park for repairs and refurbishment. They will meet with comics fans again on or before 20th January, 2018. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
