When Man Kai-ming started to work in the comic field at the age of 13, the comic industry was in full bloom. He worked for many comic production companies, including comic newspapers Kwong Pao, Hei Pao, Ching Pao & Kam Pao, etc. and was the disciple of a few comic masters. After years of experience in the industry, Man started his own publishing house in 1992 and officially released his debut title Teddy Boy. As a representative work of Man, Teddy Boy was a huge success and was arranged to be issued every 3 days in 2003, which was a rare practice in Hong Kong. Until today, a total of 1500 issues of the comic series have been published.
