The Macau-born artist was called Wong Wing-hing.
In the 1950s he was a teacher in Macau and learnt illustrating after work.
In 1965, he was employed by Ming Pao. On one hand he cooperated with Alphonso Wong with a comic series and on the other drew illustrations for Louis Cha's novels and engaged in advertising art.
During 1971 and 1980, he composed 4-panel comic strips Father and Son, Cowboy, Debussy and Gorgeous Susan, whereas Cowboy was later compiled into a 40-volume comic book and was very well received in the market.
